The film “Feuerzangenbowle”

The time has come:

On December 15 at 7 pm, @unifilmstuttgart presents the comedy classic “Die Feuerzangenbowle” in V47.01 – of course, mulled wine will be available, too. To save some money, don’t forget to bring your own cup. Admission is, like for all Uni-Film events, free.
If you are however thirsty even before the movie starts, there’s good news for you: The WinterBeach (in front of the Hellblaues Nilpferd) by @stuvus.unistuttgart will have a special Feuerzangenbowle event that day starting from 3:30 pm. For just 2,50€ per cup, you’ll be able to enjoy some delicious Feuerzangenbowle. As always, mulled wine, Punsch and other hot beverages will be offered as well.

Explanation: Even though “Die Feuerzangenbowle” is a comedy movie, it was produced during the era of the Nazi dictatorship and therefore contains some propaganda elements. In the movie, especially the character “Dr. Brett” represents the Nazi ideal of a teacher. He spreads the Nazis’ ideology among the students and seems to be the only teacher to be able to discipline the students in contrast to his colleagues who are shown to be rather tolerant and pluralistic. “Dr. Brett” was only invented for the movie for the reason of propaganda and was not originally included in the book on which the movie is based on.
