Participatory garden

Welcome to the MitMachGarten of the Uni Stuttgart. We are glad you found our website! We would be glad if you could join us.  Who are we?  We are a fairly international group of mostly students who like to take a break from our academic studies by getting our hands in the soil and spending some time in green spaces. Though we are officially a student group, we are also happy when members from the surrounding community want to come join us, as they often do!

Our Garden features a number of raised beds, in which we have planted such things as strawberries, cucumbers, zucchinis, salads, radishes, beets, and more. We also have a number of currant, raspberry and gooseberry bushes, which provide delicious berries in the summer. In the past, the garden has also been a great creative outlet for those who like to build things out of wood (like our lovely red benches!) We always welcome new and creative ideas!

Although gardeners are always welcome to come to the garden, we have a time once a week The meeting time changes every semester as per the availability of the students. The meeting time it always posted on our chalk board in the garden.

The MitMachGarten moved in the summer of 2019. The new location is behind the tennis courts of the Keltenschanze sports hall between the residential building Pfaffenwaldring 15 and the Arena 2036 (Pfaffenwaldring 19) (Google Maps).
