Main line closure
The main line will be closed again this year from July 20 to September 11, 2026. The closure will be used to press ahead with the digitalization of the S-Bahn line between Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (underground) and Vaihingen. This should improve the performance and reliability of the S-Bahn.
