Reading List: American Literature

At the beginning of January, we presented the English reading list as part of our cultural tasks. Today we present the American part of the reading list. This part also comes from the Institute of Literary Studies. When we published the last post, we asked you in the story which books you thought were missing from the list. You also mentioned works that are included in the American section today. Apart from that, you also mentioned the following works: The Harry Potter series, Der Fänger in Roggen, Fahrenheit 451, Emma, Sherlock Holmes, Pride and Prejudice, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, The White Earth, Robinson Crusoe, Ulysses, Raupe Nimmersatt, The Midnight Library and Das Lied des Achill.
