Happy new budget year!

We, the student council, do not plan in calendar years but in budget years – always from April 1st to March 31st of the next year.

At the beginning of the new semester, new students are enrolled, others are exmatriculated, we hear new subjects in our studies – at stuvus, our officers are newly elected every semester and new projects are implemented.

In addition, the new stuvus budget comes into effect on April 1st of each year. This regulates what income and expenses the student body expects for the financial year.

We use your 10 € semester fee for the perception of the university-political, disciplinary, interdisciplinary, social, economic and cultural interests of the students.

The budget is drafted by our Board, decided by the Student Parliament, and must also be approved by the uni’s Rectorate.

If you want to influence what your stuvus semester fee is spent on, you can become active!

Vote for your representative in the student parliament, get involved in departments and working groups, attend your department meetings, or simply talk to us at the next stuvus event.

In the new budget year we will continue to be there for you.
