Freshers’ Academy Stuttgart

The first weeks of our studies shape our entire course of study. We make friends for life, discover a new city, a new educational system and a wide range of offers. So it’s the perfect time to get off to a flying start with the BaWü freshers’ academy (Erstsemesterakademie BaWü zukunftsfähig)!
The First Semester Academy gives you the opportunity to network with other students and take a look behind the scenes of everyday university life even before the semester begins. You can look forward to interactive workshops, panel discussions and exciting food for thought on the topics of sustainability, digitization and responsibility. Together with you, we want to critically examine existing structures and show you different ways to actively participate in shaping them.
The first semester academy in Stuttgart is aimed at first-year students at the University of Stuttgart and will take place in the week from October 19 – 23, 2020 – one week before the general introductory events and two weeks before lectures begin. In addition to first semester students, second year students (starting in the summer semester 2020) and first year master students are also welcome.
