Review of the year 2023

With this post, we would like to take the time to look back on the year 2023.

Unfortunately, 2023 was still a year of crisis, which was associated with many financial difficulties for students.

Life at the university was also restricted for many students due to austerity measures. University library hours were shortened and the university library in the city center was closed due to a lack of resources. We also took to the streets in September to protest against this. Despite this, the refurbishment is not due to take place until 2027, which is why we are continuing to work on the issue. There were also weeks of closure to save energy and therefore money.

However, there were also some great moments in 2023, with parties ranging from the UNO to Springbreak. The Campus Beach was also a great success again. Many smaller projects and excursions were also implemented again. And stuvus celebrated its 10th anniversary.

We are delighted that there were also some new faces at stuvus. And we would like to thank all the volunteers for their commitment in 2023!
