Refund of the StudiTicket if you have bought the 9€-Ticket

If you have bought a Studiticket ticket, you can get a refund on a pro-rata basis for the corresponding months because of the 9€ ticket. You can find all the information here: www.vvs.de/9-euro-erstattung

Here is a summary of the most important information:

You can apply for a refund online if you bought your StudiTicket online, if you have StudiTickets on your polygoCard or if you bought a StudiTicket, Anschluss-StudiTicket or JahresTicket as a token with a Verbundpass from the SSB. If you have bought your tickets elsewhere, you cannot use the VVS online tool.

As a refund, you will receive the difference between the 9€ ticket and the price paid for the StudiTicket including the solidarity contribution for the corresponding month.

The refund will be made at the end of the month if you have submitted it online. You must also apply for your refund by 31 August. If you bought your ticket after 1 June, you can submit your refund application until 30 September.
