Helpers wanted
Do you like being at the Campus Beach? If so, it is certainly close to your heart that the Campus Beach continues to be open Mondays to Saturdays from 1 to 9 pm. But in order for us to be able to open the beach and keep it open, we need you!
Like almost every other project in the student council, the Campus Beach is run purely on a voluntary basis. However, this also means that the beach is only open if enough people can be found to help out on the beach. Unfortunately, we have been lacking helpers in recent weeks and if things continue like this, the beach will have to remain closed at least from time to time. In order to be able to sit on the sandy beach with a cool drink in your hands in the future, we need you!
What can you do to keep the beach open?
You can register as a helper at helfer.campusbeach.stuvus.de. Of course, this is free of charge and very easy. Then you can look for free shifts and sign up for one (or if you’re motivated, for several) shift(s).
What do you get out of it?
Apart from the fact that the beach can stay open and you have a lot of fun during your shift, you also get material compensation for your work. Helpers get free drinks during their shift. In addition, there is also a helper’s token that can be exchanged for a drink later. If you don’t just help “normally”, but take on a day leader shift, you will even receive three helper tokens. After three shifts you will also receive your own beach crew shirt!
So what are you waiting for? See you at the beach!
