CampusBeach 2022 has ended

 The summer temperatures are gone and so is the beach feeling on the Vaihingen campus: After approximately 2312 hours of student volunteering at CampusBeach (not including the organisational activities of our orgas!), CampusBeach 2022 has unfortunately come to an end.

From the end of April to mid-September, our CampusBeach working group transformed the so-called “Red Square” on the Vaihingen campus into a beach bar. There, on a total of 104 tonnes of sand, lots of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, including almost 5,000 bottles of beer, were drunk over the last few months. In addition, there was of course ice cream to cool down, many barbecue events and towards the end even pizza straight from the pizza oven. Whether poetry slam, karaoke, Bavarian evening, various concerts or semester closing party – there was always something going on!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who kept the project alive and thus made CampusBeach 2022 possible: Thank you for your voluntary work! We hope you enjoyed it as much as the guests did.
