Board & Staff

The board is the executive body of stuvus and takes care of the implementation of projects, daily business and finances. This includes, for example, the planning and execution of the budget and the implementation of the resolutions of the student parliament. In particular, it tries to implement projects and concerns of the students. All other tasks can be found in the rules of procedure of the board of the student body of the University of Stuttgart. This can be found at stuvus.de/download. The executive board usually meets weekly. The members of the board are the chair of the board, the head of the finance department, the chairpersons and the heads of the departments. The staff currently consists of the chairwoman of the board, her deputy, the finance officer and her deputy. The Chairperson of the Board is the legal representative of the entire student body. She is the head of the executive and has sole power of representation, meaning that only she may represent stuvus to the outside world. She also chairs the meetings of the Executive Board, is the direct supervisor of our employees, and is the first point of contact for all matters concerning the Executive Board. The finance officer works out the budget, provides money for the different projects like Campus Beach, answers questions from the departments about finances and keeps track of all financial matters.
