9€ Ticket
You’ve probably already heard that the 9€ ticket will be available in June, July and August. For us students in Stuttgart, we could find contradictory statements online, which is why we simply asked directly. We have summarised the answers and general information here in a short FAQ.
Do I have to buy the €9 ticket separately if I have the StudiTicket?
No! The StudiTicket automatically counts as a € 9 ticket and is charged accordingly.
How do I get my money back?
Contrary to what is often published, we do not automatically get our money back, but have to apply for a refund. There will be a platform for this.
What about the Anschluss-StudiTicket?
It can be fully refunded on the spot at the provider where it was purchased.
I don’t have a StudiTicket. Will I still automatically get a € 9 ticket through the solidarity contribution?
No! Only the StudiTicket automatically becomes a 9€ ticket. If you have only paid the solidarity contribution and therefore only have the semester stamp (Semestermarke), you have to buy the 9€ ticket if you want to have it.
