Teaching Award 2023

This year, for the eighth time, the prize for outstanding performance and great commitment in teaching will be offered. This prize is intended to honor special commitment in the area of teaching and learning and is awarded with prize money of 10,000 euros at the annual “Day of Teaching and Learning” at the University of Stuttgart. The prize money is to be used for the improvement of teaching.

All members of the university can submit standardizations. It is important to note that at least one student member must be involved and the supporting opinion of at least one department is required. Nominations may be submitted to the students council (lehrepreis@stuvus.uni-stuttgart.de) until May 21, 2023. The Senate of the University of Stuttgart will then decide on the awarding of the teaching prize based on the proposal of the Senate Committee for Teaching. In the run-up to the decision, discussions between the student representatives and the applicants will take place.

Now you are asked. Do you know a lecturer who, in your opinion, deserves the award? Then contact a department and fill out the form with a maximum of 10 pages explaining why this person deserves the Teaching Award 2023. You received the form and further information in an email on 28 February.
