Opening Outdoor Fitness Area

It has been almost a year since the outdoor fitness area was built at the Campus Vaihingen – time to finally inaugurate it properly!

After several years of planning, the project was finally implemented last spring and the Vaihingen campus was expanded by an attraction. Together with the general university sports department and thanks to the financial support from the “Masterplan für urbane Bewegungsräume” (Master Plan for Urban Exercise Spaces) of the Office for Sport and Exercise of the City of Stuttgart, the Studentenwerk e.V. and the VFUS e.V., the project was able to create a time-independent opportunity to exercise at the centre of life for many students, employees and residents. We would also like to thank the University Construction Office and the University of Stuttgart itself.

We would therefore like to cordially invite you to the official opening of the outdoor fitness area on 12.05.2022 from 3:30 p.m. onwards at Pfaffenwaldring 11, 70569 Stuttgart

First there will be an official part with greetings. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other over cool drinks and barbecue.
