Presentation of our stuvus office

Two campuses. Two offices. One Monika. 
During non-Corona times you can meet Monika in the offices. Monika Rupp and Katrin Fauss, our budget officer, currently form the administration of stuvus together. Katrin part-time, Monika full-time. Monika has been working at the university since 1995. After the restructuring of the stuvus administration, she joined us in 2017. Since then she has been looking after the office and the Hippo in the KII in the city centre (currently once a week). The other days she works in the office in the students’ house.

Calls and emails from students, university staff and everyone else first arrive at the administration office, as do letters and parcels with orders from the student groups. This is also where the student groups’ procurement requests end up, where they are checked and usually approved. If you have any questions, you can always contact Monika, she will be able to help you or know who can.

The administration helps to ensure that the active members, who are usually student volunteers, can implement the various projects of the stuvus. In the background, Monika takes care of a lot of the bureaucracy that stuvus, as a public corporation, is also subject to.
