Excursion by the student group History and GNT
The History and GNT student group is planning an excursion to Augsburg in the coming summer semester 2022 and you could be part of it! The excursion will take place on a weekend in June, from 10.06.2022 to 12.06.2022. 25 students can take part regardless of their degree programme and their affiliation to the History and GNT student group!
The plan is to leave Stuttgart around noon and arrive in Augsburg after about one and a half to two hours. The accommodation there is the "Jugendübernachtungshaus Augsburg" run by the Stadtjugendring. There are two large group rooms with eight and thirteen beds each, as well as two double rooms, the allocation of which will probably be decided by lot.
The programme of the excursion includes a visit to a number of museums. These include the "Fuggerei Museum", the Augsburg Puppet Box Museum, the "Augsburg Jewish Museum", the "Brechthaus", the "Augsburg German Baroque Gallery", the "Augsburg Roman Museum", and the "Leopold Mozart House". A visit to Augsburg Cathedral is planned and it will be decided spontaneously how the programme will be adapted, depending on the motivation of the excursion participants. In the evenings, we will have a drink together. Departure is planned for Sunday around 4 pm and arrival in Stuttgart is expected around 6 pm.
If you are interested in taking part in the excursion, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via Instagram (@fg_geschichte). The specialist group will then get back to you as soon as possible, confirm participation in the best case and send you the account details for the amount to be paid by participants. This will probably be 65 € per person. This includes travel costs, accommodation and entrance fees to the museums. If there are any remaining amounts after the excursion, they will be refunded to the participants. The student ID (for discounts) and a 2G certificate must be brought along when participating.
If you have any questions, please contact the student group directly.
